names announced ...
Here is the final names for the guest musicians appearing on "Damnation".
Renato Tribuzy
(Tribuzy)
will do some vocals on one song of the new album.
Renato is a great singer and he has worked with stars such as
Bruce Dickinson
(Iron Maiden), Matt Sinner (Sinner), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear),
Michael Kiske
(ex-Helloween),Roy Z, Roland Grapow and more. Tribuzy released
their debut
album "Execution" in 2005 via Locomotive Records, in
2007 the band released
the live album “ Execution Live Reunion” Via MTM Records
and the live DVD
“Execution Live Reunion” via Locomotive Records in

And then
we have Dominique Leurquin (Rhapsody
of fire, Luca
Turilli's Dreamquest)
who will play a guitar solo on one song. Dominique is a great
guitarist and has
been a LIVE guitarist for Rhapsody of fire since the year 2000,
and he also plays
on their albums. He has been a member of Luca Turilli's solo band
since 2006.
There will
also be some guitar solos done by Lasse Jensen (Oceans of time),
and some keyboard solos done by Fabrizio S Muratori (NhorizoN).

a successful tour of South and Central America with Swedish guitar

the touring keyboardist for Yngwie's greatly anticipated upcoming
release..
Then we have the great Swedish guitar wizard called Jonas
Hörnqvist from
the band Treasure

X-Mas & Heavy Metal New Year
...
Here is a little Christmas present from all of us (2) to all of
you. (millions) hehe
Some information about the next album that we hope to present
to you in march.
The drums has been recorded for all the songs and we are also
very very happy
and proud to announce to you two of the guest musicians on the
album.
Playing a guitar solo on the title track will be no other than
Roland
Grapow from
the band Masterplan.
(ex-Helloween)
And playing the bass guitar will be Andreas
Olsson from the Swedish band Narnia,
Divinefire,
Rob Rock
& Stormwind.

New
Record Deal ...
After having reviewed 6 offers for a new record deal there was
only 2 that could
have been interesting to proceed, but we didn't go with any of
these offers.
For some time Thomas have been thinking about the idea to start
his own label,
and now was the right time to try and do just that. So the new
album will be
released on his new label which is called Epicus Records.
Release
date for the new Gaia album will be in the end of January or early
February 2007. One more song from the new album can be heard at

Bass
player leaves ...
Right before yesterdays concert Hans told us he was leaving the
band.
This came totally unexpected to the band as we had no idea this
would happen.
He say he didn’t have fun playing with the band anymore
so he wanted out.
We were hoping he would do the rest of the tour with us but he
said no, so we
must cancel the upcoming shows. We are very sorry about this and
will do the
shows once we have found a new bass player. If you are a skilled
bass man,

Norwegian
Tour ...
19th of September we start a Norwegian tour to promote the new
album.
We start in North of Norway and play our way to the south, and
then a few
shows back north again. There might even be more shows added later.
Some
may have read or heard that we are doing a one week tour in the
UK
in November, and that was the plan but it has now sadly been cancelled.
We did have contact with a new concert promoter in the UK and
he booked
7-8 shows that we would do, but he also booked allot of other
bands so what
happened was: He over booked him self!!! He realized that he had
taken on
to much and cancelled every show and put his new started company
to sleep.
We are really sorry about this cause we where really looking forward
to come
and play in the UK for the first time. But all hope is not lost
yet!!!
We
are trying to work something out in the UK, but if we are playing
this year
or early next year we cant say right now. More info as soon as
we have any.

Back
from USA ...
After a long airplane trip we arrived safe back in Norway, after
having played
our first show ever in the USA. We want to thank all the bands
and people who
came to the Minneapolis Metal Mayhem 3 fest this year, cause we
had a great time.

...
The band have been confirmed to play at the Minneapolis Mayhem
3 Festival,
and the event is 25-26th of August. This will be the band's first
time playing in
USA and we are very exited about playing on this festival. Other

Today we have many updates, and first of all as you can see (if

...
In July Gaia Epicus was selected to represent Norway in an unofficial
online
Heavy Metal Eurovision competition. Pre-selection: Big 8 countries
(UK, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands, Russia)
representatives are selected via internet voting, participants
from the rest of 33 countries are selected internally by organizers.
Then fans can vote for their favourite band/song.

Today we welcome Ole A. Myrholt as the new drummer of Gaia Epicus.
Myrholt is no stranger to the music industry as he has been in

Now he is a member of Gaia and we are sure he will do a great
